My dad came from Germany and my mom's family comes from India. My mom lived in Dubai her whole life. My step dad is English. At our home, we have 2 Christmases. The German one on the 24th and the English one on the 25th. Our home is a mish mash of cultures but that makes things interesting.

Mum wanted us to have roots and we decided to move back here as it is a good, safe place to bring up kids (according to mum). Most of my family was either in Germany or New Zealand so we had to decide on one of them. My mum and dad eventually settled on Wellington, New Zealand. We moved back because my Auntie and Uncle live here and was pregnant with my cousin. We also moved because it was closer to my mum's parents. We had a huge plan on moving in 2014 but my dad started getting really sick. A pull factor was keeping my dad safe at home. We decided it was to much of a hassel saying as we had no clue of what happened to my dad. In 2012 he got really sick and the doctor told us he has Motor Neuron disease. Something I really love about New Zealand are the views. I think it is so beautiful and I love our native animal the Kiwi its quite amazing how its Nocturnal and some have 3 legs!
