Following the in-service, the program providers used a behavioral <strong>consultation</strong> framework to offer participating <strong>school</strong> districts 15 days of individualized consultative services within a 60-day period. Advanced knowledge and follow-up <strong>consultation</strong> were made available after the <strong>consultation</strong> process was completed. The paper asserts that when students develop a <strong>career</strong> plan and receive <strong>career</strong> counseling in high <strong>school</strong>, they are more successful in academic courses, less likely to drop out, and more successful following high <strong>school</strong>. Sometimes what is important tends to overpower the smaller aspects that are also needed when it comes to counseling. To overcome that, teachers and counselors came together to help combine the academic curriculum and the school counseling curriculum.
