He graduated from PORTMAN College as a Diploma in Business Management student. Because of his family background that couldn’t afford to the expensive tuition fees. PORTMAN College had decided to make an offer to him by giving him scholarship with an condition of marketing duty. Therefore, since semester one, Chris Pang had started to involve in a lot of marketing including making phone calls, recruiting students and organizing many events and workshops. 

During college period, he had faced obstacles on organizing events that he do not have any knowledge of such as PASS SPM Workshop and PORTMAN Dragon’s 3 on 3 basketball competition. He do not give up easily and have a positive mindset. He kept on doing research on his own and recap of what his teacher back in secondary school done for organizing a workshop. Finally, he manage to organize both event successfully with flying colours. He is also the soul of Student Council in PORTMAN College, he puts a lot of effort into this club in order to help more people who are in needs. His objective of doing this is to influence and educate people around him through this platform.

Back in secondary school, Chris was an assistant tutor at a tuition center where he started to realize he likes to teach and began to develop this habit. That is why he chose education industry as his first milestone in career. Moreover, PORTMAN College is a place which transformed his life. Therefore, he decided to contribute back by sharing his knowledge and experience to the students in order to make a difference in their life. This is why he decided to work with PORTMAN College Marketing Team because it can fulfil his principle by educating the next generation. He also never ask for return for anything that he had done for the students.

His weakness is a common weakness which a normal person would have. He often think after he speaks which could make people suffer emotional breakdown especially during his counselling session while recruiting students. This weakness could also be his strength because of his honesty and sincere heart he could let people know what their weakness is in order to improve themselves. Other than that, he is very good at dealing with people by sharing his knowledge especially to the consumer market. He is very confident that he stands a big advantage once he has a chance to sit down and talk to people. He stated that the person that keeps him motivated all the time is Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan started from a normal NBA basketball player until now he is a billionaire retired basketball player. The quote he likes the most was Michael Jordan said: “Don’t give up, if you give up what you had done in the past will just gone.” This is the quote which keep him motivated.

Chris’s greatest achievement was being the Head of Marketing of PORTMAN College at such a young age. He also been the top sales of marketing while he is still a marketing assistant. Chris also mentioned that one of his greatest achievement was after he had left PORTMAN College to start another new journey. There are still students remember him and appreciate all his effort during his time in PORTMAN College.

In the past few years, Chris had been helping others but coming to a point that he forgot to take care of himself. For the next few years, he will be more focusing on helping himself and at the same time he will also help the others. His main target for the next 5 years is to buy his own car and property before 25 years old. The most important thing is to bring his mother to travel around the world. To achieve his target, he promise to himself to work harder in order to have a better lifestyle.
