Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889 and died by suicide on April 30th of 1945. Adolf Hitler was the dictator/leader of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945. His fascist policies led to the deaths of at least 11 million people, an estimated 6 million Jews, and led to WWII. The Holocaust took place during the years of 1933-1945. These killings were organized by Adolf Hitler, leader of the German Nazis. There were millions of other deaths of people who were not Jewish. They included disabled people, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, and civilians from the Soviet Union, just to name a few. People kept here had no rights, and were treated very harshly. These facilities were called “concentration camps” because the people that were imprisoned there were physically “concentrated” in one location. People confined to these camps were forced to do hard labor, and many died. Some of the more major concentration camps include:
