She lived in a poor house in a remote area. Myrtle wasn't satisfied with her life.
One day a circus came to her town. Shortly afterwards Myrtle decided to buy a ticket to their show. Unfortunately, seats were only available at the back. However, some time earlier the monkey had taken care of her poor eyesight and purchased a pair of glasses. Now the seat at the back wasn't a problem for our little monkey.
As the show ended, Myrtle couldn't say a thing. She was fascinated by the troupe and their 'magical' skills. She couldn't resist her own ambitions and went straight to the manager of the show. After a long talk the troupe eventually agreed to train the monkey for the further shows. This truly was a doorway into the new chapter of Myrtle's life.
Two weeks later she found herself on the plane flying to an unknown destination. They landed in Scotland. There they built their own circus tent with the help of an axe. Myrtle stumbled upon a map which had come out of the blue. This map showed the way to the castle. Without a second, the troupe headed towards the adventures. 
Apparently, they had high expectations, so that's why they had sour looks on their faces. They had found a chest with only beans in it.
