The most effective training I have participated in, was an experiential seminar 6 years ago. It was effective because it helped me to apply the knowledge to my students. The seminar was about drawing and colouring in teams. For example, one member of the team closes his/her eyes and draws on a piece of paper. Another member says "stop" and then the team try to find what is there in the drawing. One can see the sea, another can see mountains , another can see fish etc Each member colours what he/she sees in the drawing.

The most effective training I have parteciped in was in a PDW in Rhodes. I learnt a lot of ICT tools that I "teached" to my collagues and my pupils. In that PDW many teachers, coming from all ove the Europe, shared their methods and I I absorbed all that I can!

It’s difficult to choose just one as I find useful almost all training activities. If I consider the immediate and more observable results, I am inclined to choose training events on specific tools or specific topics, if instead, I consider the impact of transformation on my action in general or on my educational vision, obviously my choices are different. Anyway, I would like to name the multilateral seminar in Corinth – Greece, where I got aware of the eTwinning world and policy and at the same time could learn to use many tools to implement collaborative projects. It was effective because I arrived there as a complete newbie and went back home with plenty of ideas on how to integrate eTwinning in my teaching.

eTwinning should encourage and implement online asynchronous learning events or seminars on demand with longer times of fruition. It could be done from a menu item on the main local groups' page (like the one on the eTwinning Live homepage). It would be great for teachers, especially those who do not regularly visit eTwinning, to know that there is a place where they can ask for or offer their help on a specific topic.

I have two in mind : one was a face-to face training during two days given by a practising language teacher. He presented us tricks from his experience we could use in classes and I have used some of them straight away and I’m still using them using them. What was good was that it wasn’t theory but practice.

The second ones were all the different workshops I could follow during the annual conference in Athens three years ago but also the meetings of such wonderful, dedicated, interesting teachers some of whom I still cooperate with.

The most important training I attended was the Erasmus + Small Scientists Across Europe Project, carried out for a period of 2 years (2017-2019) during which I participated in training activities, face to face in the 6 partner countries: France, Portugal. , Lithuania, Estonia, Turkey and Romania. I participated in effective activities with the preschoolers, we could see new methods and their application, we shared ideas, impressions, knowledge from our activity. More and more children with special needs come to our school, and our preparation is not in line with this. I like both online and face-to-face trainigs. At the workshops and seminars you can meet likeminded people and learn very practical thing, following the lecturer step by step.
During the online events you get motre theoretical things which is also very important, I think, they show you new pedagogical approaches giving some practice as well...
As for the most effective training, it was a 6 week course "
Dyslexia and Foreign Language Teaching". I found it very effective for myself as it helped me understand how to improve my teaching methods with such kids.

Since I attended the field of education and teaching, I started to join the training courses, some are face-to-face and others are online. Among these courses, in-depth training on new technologies and tools in education (teaching and learning). this training taught me how to create teaching supports for my students, as well as learning materials that they will use during their studies, activities, projects and tasks. I learned how to integrate collaborative tools in class and in their houses too (between students). in addition, I received a very rich training in reverse pedagogy (the inverted class) which is an active pedagogy and puts the student at the center of the educational act, he or she who will learn, build knowledge and interact with his or her pairs. So my training needs in Pedagogy and class management are the most effective for me to succeed in my work .. For knowledge, content, ... we can learn them individually: the self-training.

Yes, it's totally normal. I work in an urban school with 25 teachers from different disciplines, years of experience and professional experience. So, I do not hesitate to learn from them at school (face to face) or online by using collaborative tools such as google docs, padlet, mailing, ... i aske questions that affect the methods of teaching, know-how, work strategies, .. interaction and communication are very important in peer learning and training .

For me, the assessment of students is always the most difficult. We are very stick to the evaluation of objectives and, nowadays, we need to evaluate competences. The most effective training I attended was the face to face training for eTwinniing beginners a few years ago.

It was effective because:

1- it met a need: I was willing to know more about eTwinning, so I had asked to participate in this training;

2- it was a very practical training: we registered on the platform, discovered existing projects, used new digital tools;

3- it was cleverly designed in two parts: first two days to discover eTwinning and gather ideas for a project and then, after a few months, back to share our projects, our difficulties, our discoveries. Great indeed!

I take part in trainings on a regular basis, a few times a month, but the ones that have stuck with me over the years (well, some of them) are 2 LEs, one from Bart &Arjana on Augmented reality, as it was very interactive, engaging, full of fun and new content; one called Uniendo los puntos, which was awesome, we were split in teams and had various tasks to do. Then a few on europeanschoolnetacademy. One of the most challenging ones, but very illuminating and which gave me chance to interact with other teachers from other etwinning schools was the Moodle for eTwinning schools in 2018.

The most effective training I attended was a set of supports that were offered to me when I needed it most. I can say that the whole set of online courses, the eTwinning seminars as the same continuous exchange with colleagues of an eTwinning project has been an effective training. In Italy 4-5 years ago an excellent plan for school innovation started (PNSD) and this offered excellent ideas for teacher training. The problem in my opinion is not in the training offer. Unfortunately, in my opinion there are many bureaucratic and legislative problems (for example the new very restrictive laws on privacy) that are hindering the professional development of teachers especially in the performance of eTwinning projects. In summary, in my opinion, less restrictive laws would be required regarding the educational use of multimedia material produced in the classrooms, while maintaining the protection of all the material concerning photos or videos with minors.

Speaking of the reality of my region (Tuscany, Italy) in my opinion, on the one hand eTwinning should acquire greater authority with regard to the decisions taken by the school. Currently only the Regional School Office has the faculty to convene an eTwinning ambassador teacher at a meeting to decide on the dear eTwinning dissemination meetings. In my opinion, eTwinning ambassadors should be given greater autonomy and greater power by the major institutions (European Commission, National Ministries) so that they could organize these courses for their colleagues too. In my country we are still very far from this possibility.

I'm not sure which is the most effective training I have partecipated in, but one of the most effective was a MOOC " Future classroom scenarios" : it gave me the push to change alot the learning environment at my school. I had the opportunity to visit schools in various countries thanks to the Erasmus projects and to be struck especially by the organization of learning spaces in Finland and the United Kingdom. I have participated in some PDW s
All of them was effective ,because they were face to face training, a workshop where we were shown how to use the etwinning plarform.
I've learned a lot from watching other colleagues teach and I've made friendship.
There I learned how to organize the events, to use different the tools in project, public speaking, graphics.

I participated in both regional and national networking. It’s always a good chance to get updated, share good practice and meet face to face colleagues.I particpated in peer learning especially when preparing a project.I learn and practise alot with my colleagues who already experienced it.In case of eTwinning projects and the use of web2 tools the best way is to do with with a peer.I learn better in peer learning.

I think for PDW many topics are useful if they organized according to the level of participating teachers . If the PDW is for beginners the topics are how to begin with thinking about idea of the project,planning the project together with co-founder and workshop about right working process of the project and 10 golden rules of a successful project. The most effective training I have participated in twice was the one in Future Classroom Lab by European Schoolnet in Brussels. Professional and friendly coaches, classroom setting, rich resources and participants highly interested in the workshops made them effective

During one of our school Erasmus+ projects, we -the school teachers had a chance of exchanging resources and ideas both online and face-to-face regularly. It lasted for 2 years only but was worth doing. Unfortunately, some of the staff had to be "motivated" or "encouraged" by the headmaster. I think there is a great need to improve teachers' ICT skills.

I'm interested in PDW related to IT tools especially the interactive tools like the interactive quizzes, worksheets, images, videos, e-learning games, Virtual Manipulatives, Virtual experiments and Labs, ...
My aim is to:
- make learning fun.
- help students imagine concepts and scientific theories that are hard to imagine, to help teachers lessen the burdens of explaining these issues that are mostly hard to explain.

It is recommended to carry out a survey about the needs of teachers and add them to groups according to their needs.
These groups participate in specialized PDWs according to their needs. A recording of these PDWs + Tutorials of the PD topic may be a solution.

I have participatedsome trainings and all of them was effective. Some o them were face to face and some of them were online. Actually, I want to say that face to face training is more effective than online. I have learned more - making friends, using etwinning platform, organizing projects, events and also using web 2 tools from workshops. that's why they were effective.
