Taking the second part of the formative quiz and getting to this section was a challenge because some of the terms I would mix up like radius or ulna or tibia and fibula. After working on this chart, I started to get the hang of where the bones are and I could identify them better. I now am getting all the bones right on the formative quiz thanks to this chart. Like I know now that the knee is a hinge joint and that the shoulder is a ball and socket joint. Before I started writing the notes down on the paper, I really had no idea how to figure out which synovial joint goes with the body. This worksheet also helped because I am a huge fan of coloring coding and I think it is a good way to memorize things. It helped me understand the planes and which way they went. I feel like the lab made a lot more sense because we were doing a lot of hands on by cutting the candy visually and physically. I especially loved this part because in the picture above we are splinting a shoulder and I have never done that before, so it was good to learn and practice so I know what to do when or if I see it in the training room when I am student aiding. After doing a lot of research that I haven't done before, I decided to officially go with Physical Therapy because I want to do more with people and help them, but I will still always love Athletic Training. I also loved that a requirement for the project was to look up how much schooling it takes to earn your doctorate and also the classes you need to take in order to earn it. After doing this project, I learned more content on how to treat it the proper way and what I liked is that I split it up into Major and Minor burns, so hopefully whoever sees this next, gets an idea how to treat the two burns differently. Between the two burns, there is not much difference, but there are some different things you need to do first before treating them.
