I see Prometheus as a trailblazer for progress but also as a person who could not measure the consequences of their actions. In turn, his actions come to bite him back. Much like in "Frankenstein," Victor Frankenstein does not measure the dangerous nature of his experiments nor does he think about what his creation may do.

I think he can be seen as both of these because whenever someone is the first to do something or make progress in something they are often viewed negatively first and later recognized in a positive light.

I believe he is a trailblazer. However, he is viewed as dangerous because he is a trailblazer. His tale should be utilized as a lesson to people to fight for what you believe in, however it must be done correctly. Otherwise it becomes dangerous.

I think Prometheus is a bit of a trouble maker who without his intervention, could have led to humanity having what they already possessed and with him not being tortured for eternity. Although his denial of authority could be seen as heroic, giving him good qualities.

I believe Prometheus is change and evolution personified. Him giving humans fire to not rely much on the gods granted them the ability of cooking, making weaponry, and maintaining body heat. These were things humans couldn't do without the help of Prometheus.

I think that Prometheus was courageous for wanting to help humans despite the consequences. However, with the drastic development in technology in the past few years I think it is important to also view his tale as a cautionary one, reminding people that developments aren't always beneficial and can have punishments.

I believe Prometheus to be more of a cautionary tale of progression and how it can help and be detrimental to society as a whole. On the other hand I believe in his story that he was a hero and was unjustly punished for helping those he believed needed it.
