This paper made me aware of my responsibility for inclusivity. I allowed exploring theories beyond the Big Bang, 'opening to students to engage with belief system different from their own.

It provided me with questions to ask students to support meaningful instructions for learning this topic. 

Examples of students prior misconceptions would be 1) that the Big Bang was an explosion rather than an expansion, and 2) that the Big Bang was the 'organisation of pre-existing matter'.
