When Castle first joined track it was to show the other that they weren't that fast. After practicing with the team and going he found some good friends and in my opinion a father like figure. As he keeps practicing he remembers the sound of a gun being cocked and fired. When he was younger his dad was drunk in bed and lost his temper. Castle's mom came in his room and they were going to leave the house. After they came back in the room his dad fired a gun at them both. It missed them and no one was injured but that scared castle for life. As he gets older it still does but when he hears that sound he tries to run away from it. Bear influences Chase to do bad things like lie and bully. Bear also tries to get the old Chase Ambrose back.
