The easier it is to get to that place. But when you go to a new place and you have to clear a path it is harder and takes time. We have started doing a class average on the pre and post assessments that we administer and post the growth for the students to see and feel proud of. We have also purchased growth mindset cards... The students receive a sticker for their card each time they demonstrate growth mindset. Once their card is full it will be posted on the growth mindset bulletin board. This has seemed to be very motivating for some of our students who seem to get stuck or frustrated. They have been showing some great determination not to let the frustration get the best of them and to persevere.
