         <description><![CDATA[<div>The rat has been dead for a few week, this means that the tissues and organs of the rat are dead.</div><ul><li>First and foremost, liver tissues should be extracted. </li><li>Secondly, hydrogen peroxide should be prepared. </li><li>Thirdly, liver tissues should be immersed in hydrogen peroxide. </li><li>Lastly, if colorless bubbles evolve, test if the gas relight a glowing splint, it means that the gas evolved is oxygen.</li><li>this means that the breakdown of hydrogen peroxide into oxygen is catalysed by catalase from liver. </li><li>This indicates that even when all the living tissues and organs died, the enzymes can continue to work. This can prove that the enzymes are non-living.</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>The following experiment was conducted to find out if enzymes are non-living.</li><li>A piece of liver tissue was added into the hydrogen peroxide solution.</li><li>Colorless bubbles evolved as liver contains the enzyme catalase, which catalyses the breakdown of hydrogen peroxide into oxygen.</li><li>To further test if the gas is oxygen, a glowing splint was exposed to the gas in the beaker. Since the glowing splint relighted, the gas is oxygen.</li><li>A glass lid was used to cover the beaker to prevent the gas evolved from excaping</li></ul>]]></description>
