By being outside children use a multitude of senses to explore and take in the environment around them. When children are outside they do not even have to try to use their senses because nature provides such amazing sights, sounds and textures that come directly to the children. By exposing the children to the outdoors and allowing them to use their senses to explore they gain an appriciation. for the outdoors and its aesthetic while running, jumping and playing in a natural environment.
