First thing I learned is that 40% of students in Guatemala do not end up finishing school. Usually they will drop out because they cannot afford the fees for school supplies or they need to help their families and work. 
The second thing I learned is that many people give up on their dreams because they cannot have a proper education. Money when working jobs can also be a problem, as you never know when you are going to get paid. Some days you may have nothing and other times you may have only  a few dollars. 
The third thing I learned is that in Guatemala they speak Spanish but also many other languages. One of the most common languages spoken is kaqchikel. It is similar to Spanish and is one of the many Mayan languages. 
2. The first question I have is how did the four guys get the courage to experience a life being in Guatemala? So many things could go wrong. 
The second question I have is what are the people/government of Guatemala going to do about the crisis of people living on a dollar a day? I'm sure most people would want to improve the quality of life in the country, it would take a lot of effort.
3. One thing I liked about the video was the effort the guys put into connecting to the people, understanding their culture and helping out. Most people would maybe go there, take a picture and leave, but these people learned so much and experienced it all. I love how they learned Spanish to talk to the people and became friends with others. Some people still spoke mayan languages. Society can still function with an population in poverty. Parents in poverty must choose between feeding or educating their children.

I learned that most of the people speak Guatemalan, or Kaqchikel, a mayan language. 
I also learned that there is a company that facilitates simple loans and in the process empowers women to start their own businesses. 
The main takeaway I had from this video is that even some of the most unfortunate villages, the family values and sense of community is open to most anyone. They were very hospitable towards the college students.

How many unfortunate deaths are swept under the rug or not properly recorded? 
3. I liked how these men randomized the amount of money per day, to further understand the financial instability faced by the 1.1 billion people who live in these environments daily.

The first thing i like from the video was that they were going to see if they could live under a dollar and that were going to see what these people lives were like. The second thing i learned was that these guys were going to a village and they tried to make a fire and they saw how hard it was to live with one dollar. I also learned that they were going to get there money by random because some of the people around them are just getting there money by random and don't know how much that will get. Two question that i learned from the video was that they were spending money on wood and stuff to help them they said in the video. And that also did not have a lot of energy to do anything they said because there all ways full on food they could not really do anything and it was all ready taking affect on them in the video. Two things I liked from the video
-I liked how well planned their challenge was, I believe it was well executed and very accurate to the lives of people living in poverty.
