It affected the National Assembly because they ended an absolute monarch so people viewed them with a high value. France had a weak monarchy Louis was a weak leader that didn't care that much about the government and preferred his personal interests.<br>3. France was also struggling because of there financial needs </div>]]></description>

Robespierre had put in place laws that took away most of the rights won during the revolution because France was in turmoil over civil war. From then on this reign of Robespierre had many people executed if they broke any of these laws. This is why the reign of Terror had occured.</div>]]></description>

France then declared war on Austria. Other European countries such as Prussia, Great Britain and Spain quickly came to support Austria with the war. With Prussia, Austria brought their troops towards Paris, but they were defeated by the time they reached Valmy by the French. Great Britain decided to move emigres troops to France to help the royalists and peasants. France won the revolution crushing the revolts and neighboring enemy countries in the end.</div>]]></description>
