Our case fits the definition of strict liability by the fact that monster co had put too much caffeine in their drinks. This falls into strict liability by the fact that if they had never put so much caffeine in one beverage, the girl would have never died.

a 14 year old girl drank 2 24 ounce monster energy drinks in under a 24 hour period . The parents filled a wrongful death and strict liability lawsuit against the company of the monster beverages . the girl went into cardiac arrest and a coma in johns hopkins hospital . After 6 days of support , the girl died .
