As you know I am not very good at keeping things short, but in this one case I will try…
I would like to start saying “Thank you” for all of the opportunities you have given me, from the interview day back in 2014, which I still remember vividly, through the fantastic journey along the CIM, 3DP and now PORT. I certainly have many memories and lessons learnt from you that I treasure and use as road map especially during the uncertain times….and, as we are not short of uncertainties at the moment, those leanings will come more helpful than ever before. 
“Leading by the example” is probably the very first learning from you and I shall endeavour to continue along that path of philosophy and attitude.

I have not really managed to keep this short, but six great years of mentorship need their space in our memories as well as on a page.

All the very best for this new stage of life and I hope to continue to discuss science and seeing you,
