Our study was replicated by our team with more students. We also compared test scores before and after the experiment for the group that ate breakfast. In the new study the students that ate breakfast had an average test score of 93% and an average homework score of 94%. Their test scores also increased by an average of 12% from before the experiment. The students that did not eat breakfast had an average test score of 79% and an average homework score of 81%. This confirms the results of our previous study. Students that eat breakfast before school perform better academically than those who do not eat breakfast before school.
