It was a mixed group of 9th and 10th graders, in their very first year at Matanzas High School. The learning curve was incredible, for both the members, and director, Rachel Palmer. We had to find a drum set player, and figure out how to travel with pans. We played our first concert at the Flagler Auditorium in the spring of 2006.
