  • Systemic changes to programs and class options for students to take. They need to have interest and desire to be at school

  • Ask the students we know are at risk what would make them want to be at school.

  • Small groups with most at risk kids, targeted interventions with relationship development.

  • Parent education and support. Parents not having transportation. Social workers, student success workers to meet with families about barriers to getting to school.

  • Large group parent education around doing the hard things to avoid anxiety development, we must get students through the period of school avoidance.
