I never imagined that I would be a teacher let alone be working on becoming a certified Special Education Teacher. I had no educational background when I got my first job offer. For the past 6 years I taught 2nd grade at a title one school in San Tan Valley, AZ. I have grown so much over those years and have had the opportunity to serve as a team lead, campus behavioral coach, and data specialist. In high school I was severely bullied and struggled with my mental health. As a teen I experienced more than what most would experience in a lifetime. Divorce, homelessness, death and many other challenges. This led to me dropping out of high school at 16 years old. I  met some friends who convinced me to start college early at a young age. I agreed to try, and by doing so it changed my life. While getting my associates at the local community college I was blessed to be involved with many different AMAZING organizations ; Phi Theta Kappa, Student Public Policy Form, Pearson Student Ambassador program and so many more. When I obtained my associates I was the campus student body president and valedictorian. After obtaining my associates I then proceeded to get my bachelors degree from Arizona State University. I graduated at 21 years old with my bachelors in Global Health.
