Came the seven coloured mist 
High up in the sky, arching
How beautiful can you get?
Spreading a smile on the people around

Walking through hell  
Going extra miles, she smiles expecting absolute nothing in return
Teaching me to fight back tears   
Teaching me to walk the earth without fears  
Gifting me with memories that will never disappear    
The first friend,
The best friend 
The forever friend
 Giving me love that lasts eternity
And planting the seeds of certainty 
She said one day I will fade away,
But I know in her heart she carries enough love 
To defeat the cruelty of death and the strength of almighty 
And when she hears me calling, forgetting everything 
Closing both eyes she smiles 
Ready to go extra miles!

It shakes the jungle floor
Not something to ignore
Every denizen is at the deaths door

It shows off its serrated fangs
Walks alone in mist and not in gangs
Eyes as twinkling as night stars
Pounces on rivals leaving painful scars
 
Then, the innocent lion cub
With tiny paws and small heart
Following the mighty predecessor 
Since, his heart is too pure to understand the jungles terror

there's a rainbow at the end of the road
but how often have you seen 
that 'end of the road'

you see not all roads end,
not many began,
it's not how life works

its not a highway all the time
it can be a small ally in a nearby community
it could be a lane which leads to a different locality
the one way road which you can't turn back from

we don't start at a road
we don't end at one 
we dive or walk 
into an existing one.
