I have a couple ideas about where i'm heading, I feel as though I want to do something to deal with breastfeeding mothers in public and contesting the opinion that they should hide or be made to feel bad about something that is natural. I was thinking about having a man inhale a burger or some messy and greasy food and compare that to a mother and a child breastfeeding. to which I would ask something along the lines of what would you rather look at in a restaurant? I was unsure as if to the product had to be existing or be based around a popular issue. As my first entry stated I was thinking that I could do something surrounding peoples discomfort when women breastfeed in public. However, after completing the list I wanted to go down a different path. One of my ideas was to create a product called 'Off: A sibling spray' which would act as a barrier between siblings when they get on each others nerves (much like fly/bug spray). As I didn't know if it was able to be a mad up product I kept my mind open to all possibilities.

After speaking to my Tutor I discovered that I was able to create the product, which then lead to another issue as to which idea to chose!! The breastfeeding idea would give me a better grounding and starting point for research but I feel as though it might not spark my interests enough to want to pursue the idea. The sibling spray however, would be difficult to find sources that would show my research and in tern support my general idea.

Although the sibling spray is the harder option I feel that I would be more inspired and could be more creative with my outcome, research and final product.

I want to style my ad like the 'squatty potty' ads (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbYWhdLO43Q), in the way that these ads are comical and sell you an unusual product. I like the way that the information is delivered and perceived by their target audience.

My Target audience will be people between the ages of 10-99+ who have one or more sibling. It will work on any gender of sibling but not on friends, partners or other family members. The reason that my product is targeted at all people between the ages of 10-99+ is because no matter how old you are, you will always get annoyed at your siblings and need your space from them. I chose a monochromatic colour scheme to fit in with the existing Off brands colour scheme. This product is supposed to be another product within their range. Idea 1: My first idea is to create a really dramatic scene between two siblings and have very dramatic music and sharp camera angles displaying an intense sibling battle. The use of dramatic music and sharp camera angles will create a sense of tension and covey the comedic nature of the advertisement and product. I want to show one sibling spraying the other and then the music will go quiet and the sound of breaths and an exaggerated bottle spray will be heard and then the sprayed sibling would be propelled back. The dramatic music will pick up and the call to action will appear.

Idea 2: The second idea is to create a western styles gun fight but with the spray. The spray will be the replacement of the guns, and there will be classical western battle music. This idea will create many different and exiting camera angles which will create tension and again comedy.
