Since I have become the minister of this church, I have not been respected appropriately by some of the people in the town. I barely make enough money to get by, and I cannot even afford niceties for the church such as golden candlesticks (shouldn't the Lord have the very best). My husband and I were not put together when we both confessed all that we know.

Before I was taken to trial my husband and I had discussed it. He knew deep inside for all this to clear up he had to confess his sin of adultery. Eventually after I was taken away he confessed the truth. The downhill of the situation was that when they had asked me little did I know that my husband had told the truth about it and I had lied that he didn't.

After that situation my husband then took all the blame for it. The witch craft I had been once falsely accused of and the sin he had committed. The court had given my husband John a contract admitting that he was guilty or not so he could take in my place for it. And of course John had been executed.

The people knew fair and well that none of it was truth but no one said anything. So AITD for not just confessing sooner? would maybe all of this have been avoided?

Later to find out that Abigail was the main one accusing people of witchcraft and of course accused my wife. She had accused my wife because she wanted me to get with her and leave my wife. They took my wife to court. I knew that I would have to confess my sin of adultery and so I did but they believe me since my wife had been asked and she denied that it wasn't true. Could have any of this ended differently if I had just let them tell the public who was really guilty?

Since being kicked out all I can think about is Mr. Proctor. I love him and he loves me, there is no denying it. I love him so much that I even met with Tituba, another servant in my village, to try to get Proctor to be mine. I want him to be mine to the point where I told the court that Mrs. Proctor is a witch.

AITA for ruining families and the rest of my town in order to get with the man I love?
