3-6 days: sudden onset of fever, chills, headache, back and muscle pain, nausea and fatigue (weakness, vomiting, loss of appetite)
Toxic Phase: high fever, jaundice (yellowing of skin and eyes), bleeding from the mouth, nose or eyes or stomach.
Leading to organ failure and fatality (abdominal pain, dark urine and shock)
