I haven't had the privilege to get to know you as much as I want to. But I do hope that you keep your heart pure for Espi.. Also, sana marami kang bitbit na patience with you, Espi's a handful! “pwede po magrant?” this is how Espi makes me feel loved and appreciated despite our Batangas- Rizal friendship. From our midnight overthink and impromptu rants, I’m always thankful for being my unpaid therapist. Omg so eto na nga ate charo! I can’t wait and imagine na you’ll be with the man you’ve waited and prayed for so long. This is the ‘finally’ that I’ve been waiting for you. You don’t know how happy I am, from the time na minessage mo ako about this sobrang nag ooverflow yung happiness ko. Yung mga inarts naten sa boys back then Highschool, wala na finish na! tinapos na ni Gab and now with you to start a new beginning sa ibang level ng relationship. How God works and moves truly in his own mysterious ways. May he continue to guide and bless the both of you as you enter new chapter of your lives.

Grabe ang bilis ng panahon! Parang kahapon lang tayo nagka-kilala, nag uusap about shoes nung college orientation tapos ngayon ikakasal ka na! I know you will be a great wife and mother (soon) because you are a great friend to all of us. I'm not sure how that's connected but I heard husbands and daughters saying: "My bestfriend is my wife/mom" so yeah hahaha. Looking forward to celebrate your wedding in the future lalo na't wala kami on your wedding day. Miss you!

We may not know each other that much yet but I hope that you will treat Espi like the queen she is hahaha. Always be patient. Growing up, I have witnessed couples argue or fight a lot, after all, love is not just about the kilig. Kapit lang dahil yun yung mga panahon na mas makikilala nyo ang isa't isa at ang mas mag papatatag sa relationship nyo as husband and wife.

To my dearest Pat &. Gab,

How wonderful it is that you have found love and solace in each other during a time as difficult as this. I am inspired by your decision to take through sickness and in health, and through many challenges life might bring forth to the both of you. Gab, I have only met you once. But Pat’s eyes never showed so much life until you came into her life. It was hard for us to meet as regularly as we would before, but every time we spoke, I heard less of her struggles but more of the things she hopes to do in the future — she was looking forward to life, only I didn’t know then it was a life she was hoping to spend with you.

Gab, you are gifted with an amazing partner who is intelligent, loving, and altogether fun. I hope you will treasure her and love her dearly — make her sushi rolls because she loves them, take her to places because traveling energizes her, and forgive her when she oversleeps because.... eh that’s just the way she is. 🤷‍♀️

To my Pat, I’m so thankful for the times we have been given to spend with each other. They may be short, but nonetheless all meaningful in their own ways — whether we were losing sleep, cramming our way to an event, or celebrating our small wins. I miss you as I always have, and as you enter a new chapter in your life, I will miss you even more. But know that nothing between us will change.
