In islands where the sunsets shine,
The Philippines is truly fine,
From busy streets to beaches bright,
It welcomes you with pure delight.

Adobo’s flavor, lechon’s crunch,
Sinigang’s taste in every lunch,
These dishes bring a joyful cheer,
A taste of home, so warm and dear.

Festivals light up every day,
With dances, songs, and bright parades,
In every step and happy song,
The heart of the land beats strong.

From rice terraces high and green,
To Boracay’s soft, white sheen,
The beauty here you’ll always adore,
In every view and every shore.

Treasure of Heritage

            Treasure of Heritage

In the quiet village of San Rafael, five friends—Lara, Miguel, Ana, Carlo, and Bea—stumbled upon a dusty map in Ana’s attic. The map hinted at a hidden treasure, sparking their curiosity and setting them off on an adventure. They followed the map through forests, crossed rivers, and outsmarted mischievous monkeys, solving riddles that led them to a hidden cave.

Inside, they discovered a wooden chest filled with ancient artifacts and scrolls about their village’s history. But as they celebrated, the ground began to shake, and rocks tumbled around them. Clutching the chest, they made a narrow escape as the cave collapsed behind them.

Back in the village, the children shared their discovery, inspiring the townsfolk to create a museum to preserve their heritage. The treasure became a symbol of the village’s rich history, and the five friends were hailed as local heroes, proving that the greatest treasures are the stories that connect us all.

It weathers every storm in silence, roots digging deep into the soil for strength. Yet, even in its solitude, it provides shelter and shade, a quiet reminder of resilience.
