         <description><![CDATA[<div>Morality plays are a type of allegorical drama. In morality plays, the characters are personifications of moral qualities. The intent of these plays is to teach moral lessons to the audience. Morality plays were one of three key types of vernacular drama made in the Middle Ages. They demonstrate the dilemmas that average people face in their attempts to live morally, and allowed for education through entertainment. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><em>Everyman </em>is an example of a morality play, it deals heavily with the moral life of its protagonist as he stands before Death. <br>Also, the writings Christopher Madlowe works such Doctor Faustus  and <em>Edward II </em>are known to Ben invocative of the themes found in Morality plays. <br><em>The Miraculous Apple Tree</em> and <em>The Castell of Perseverance</em> are both examples of morality plays and showcase their spread, as the former is a Dutch tale and the latter is the oldest example of a play in English. </div>]]></description>
