The first thing I learned that I thought was valuable was how schools actually function. Obviously we know about the teachers and the staff but, you never hear about schooling on the federal or state level. There are so many more people involved than you think. 
2. The second thing I learned was how much funding affects students. I wrote my paper on this and learned so much about the logistics of how schools are funded. 
3. The last thing I learned was how to properly write and format an APA paper.
