Things I am thinking about.
1. Spreading a station activity over multiple days.
2. How to use station rotation as a method for providing students with opportunities to make up for things they have missed.
3. How to use station rotation as a useful lab recap or as a unit review.

This would be a whole lot easier with more than 50 min. periods....

I like the idea (as an LA teacher) of starting with a whole-class discussion/mini-lecture that then leads to small groups/stations. It allows for clarification of the text or author's message before kiddos get time to evaluate or challenge their reaction to the discussion.

Let's think about how to use these tools for students to build and analyze models to explain a phenomenon. We have lots of great units that might work well.

I think some people think of blended learning as those partly online, partly offline community college classes. That's probably what the school board objects to.
