Personally, I do aspire to be married later in life. I hope to do so out of love and nothing else. But I would like to accomplish all of my goals and aspirations in life before settling down completely and having kids. And in this marriage I want to continue to pursue my dreams and desires.

I value the romantic aspects of marriage. Saying vows that you commit yourself fully to another person. Standing before whatever religious beliefs you have to honor whatever god or gods in your tie with this person. And including all your friends and family members in a wedding ceremony to celebrate your union as wife and husband or partners

I could not give less of a fuck about getting married or even being in a relationship. Tbh, I look at my friends who are in relationships or always seeking a relationship and I just don’t see the appeal - it seems like so much work and for what? So, really, I just don’t desire marriage.

I value it but I feel like its more casual to me and my partner, just because my partner and I are legally married in the governments eyes doesnt really mean anything to us except the government knows were “legally tied”. Also this might be youthful ignorance but I believe that marriage problems arrise from the actual relationship not the legality of it

I think the idea of getting married is important to me but at the same time it is not something i would ever force for convenience or because it is the social norm to get married. If I am at a point where i truly do find someone i love and want to spend the rest of my live with i would be open to the idea of marriage but i am also having conflicting feelings with not feeling the need to have a piece of paper to validate my love for someone.

The idea of marriage is important to me, I do hope to be married someday. It’s not necessarily something that I have a timeline for. I think it would be amazing to have a lifelong relationship that you are so committed to that your mental promise turns into a physical one.

As someone who comes for an area where it was normal to get married before you graduate high school the idea of marriage had truly lost all meaning to me. I personally was engaged at 18 and I truly regret doing anything involving marriage at such a young age. I still do believe that marriage between two mature people can be beautiful.
