Describe one speaking lesson you have recently taught. USE THE MIC! We want to hear you! (but feel free to add any text or links to enhance your speaking) Did you use any special app or website? What were your objectives and how successful were you by the end of the day? What would you do differently next time?

Hello there!
I'm Tania and I'm teaching Juniors 1 which means young learners between the ages of 8-10.
In one of the speaking lessons I did, there was a short song about birthdays and the months of the year, so I asked the students to ask their classmates their birthdays (month and day), so they could write down the information in their books.
The catch was that they could not take their books with them, they had to complete the information by remembering what their classmate said.
For example, my students had to ask "when's my birthday Juan?" and Juan, the student had to answer "your birthday is on July 15th."
- SWABT: students will remember the birthdays and how to ask and answer the question.
- SWABT: speak with their classmates.
- SWABT: write down the information.

It was fun for them to get up and chat with the other students, but this lesson was at the end of unit 2, so my students were a bit shy, and were not that confident in their pronunciation and vocabulary. Perhaps I rushed this activity, I am planning on doing this type of speaking activity again at the end of the year, to see how they have progressed and how they feel now after months of learning English.
(There is an issue with my audio so here is the link for my lesson, but is pretty similar to what I wrote here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1JJ1rIBzybFbTyz0mr9QcjwfhyyYV9vrqEoW12therBo/edit?usp=sharing)

* Here is the song we used before the activity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzJZhR1svaQ&t=69s
* And the activity is called running dictation: https://comprehensibleclassroom.com/2011/06/29/running-dictation/#:~:text=Running%20Dictation%20in%20a%20nutshell,where%20a%20secretary%20transcribes%20it.

Hello everyone! This is a speaking lesson experience I had with my students recently.
Some information about this class is that they are 7 years old children, with an A1 level of English, so that means they are beginners.
The topic was toys and my main objective was for them to contextualize in a daily life setting the new vocabulary they learned in the unit.
It is an onsite class and there are 10 students in total.
I did not use any particular website or special app for this task, they only had to bring their favorite toy to class in order to be able to describe it.
