We are often caught in the rain due to a lack of foresight and taking a moment to contemplate and reflect before it is to late, and we stand soaked and open to the sky's storm. Alone, the quote is a fine example of ATE, but taken to together there is a disconnect that would make one question rather than understand. Tragic heroes and those how have colluded with their own actions to meet a tragic demise must stay "behind" and face their error and the damage that they have caused. There is a disconnect with the image as Charlie is not to be blamed. He has suffered something traumatic, but he is not in collusion without. He rises from his ruin when he reconciles with his past.
