In the early 1900s, the workers started to get better working conditions and higher wages. But it wasn't always like this, the past working conditions from the 1800s were the worse in the whole time period! People could have seriously affected their health by smelling so many toxic gasses, which could have lead to death. Many people didn't complain though since after all, they were just workers that could have been easily replaced, these events lead to riots and protest against huge companies that had high demands, they even went on strike since that was the only way they were getting any attention from the government.

However, when the government didn't respond later on until it noticed that it wasn't fair to get paid so little for all they had to go through. It has been estimated that around 15 million people were unemployed during the great depression, which was the lowest point of unemployment in the year 1933. This affected the economy worse since they were wanting help from the government since stocks weren't fully good yet. So most people weren't willing to gamble all their savings and just hoping to get rich.

A part of the goal for the great depression time period would be

"FLSA: improved wages and working conditions". Why? Well, many people are starting to complain and notice that the conditions while working were not ok. many workers are starting to expect a better way of living and making money even though so many people were unemployed. However, they were willing to take a risk for a better and improved form of working which would lead to fewer injuries or future health problems.

At first, the culture of working Americas has a little of a moreover tradition of soliciting employees’ views or their loyalty in general. The 1930s-1990s added to the wall of distrust between workers and bosses. While the thousands of corporations were proved to have more than little enough workers working. The government fixed this halfway in the 1900s. The companies gave their forgiveness by giving money for most of the lives they have admitted to losing and the working field.

The outpacing preventive programs were able to cover up most deaths with large amounts of money. "While more companies are electronically monitoring their workers’ performance." Meaning that they had records of them/not working on years they claim had. One out of fifty private-sector workers were already being tested for drugs, and the percentage is expected to increase. Since private investigations were being sent to countless companies to see if the numbers were matching up based on what was shown to the public. This caused many citizens to question about there past and future...

The promotion for unemployment would be putting posters around the city or make it to the news article similar to how the citizens found out that people have been strikes. This form of communication started by many people to refuse to work or workers would demand higher paychecks by causing riots towards the capital and government. The news was spreading quicker when it hit the newspaper, many people that weren't in the main street found out this way or by other friends/family members. Most of these people also joined the riots since they had other people that went through the same thing. So by representing them they felt as if they were helping them somehow. Finally, the government decided to settle this by sending a professional crew to inspect the places.

It was worse than expected since many productions of food we're putting deadly or toxic substances into pigs so the meat would be fat to have larger quantities. Not only that but they also saw many people close to toxic liquid which could burn them alive. That is now why in today's society the company are mandatory to be inspected by other high standers people. This is how we ensure our safety while being able to still produce on what is needed.

The success of the program would depend on what state but overall, it was improved all over. That is why it is important to know what happened in the US so that other places won't do the same mistakes as others did. But based on what citizens had to say:

Anonymous/middle class: "I have seen many people suffer and get injured in these working conditions. The new laws are not good enough, since it has already caused death and countless injuries. No amount of fortune could bring a person back".

This explains how other people felt while others were satisfied, this all depends on what experience you had with the company work or worked with. In general, people were ok with the outcome but some were excited more than others.

In today's society, we see many programs that were impacted due to the most restricted policies, which most companies need to follow provided by the government. This is how the program is evident in our present world. However, this isn't all that changed, most governments are REQUIRED by law to send once or twice a month an inspection person by telling them in advanced or showing up there by surprise. They do this since all companies want to show their best part of themselves, which is reasonable but doesn't on every occasion.

At some worse, a few accidents still happen here in there but sadly most aren't introduced to the public but the companies do show condolences to the family members. But when the companies are doing this, they have to bring professional medical staff to know what was the reason for the death and the most likely time of death.

For example, think about the military that dies in the process of war or diseases. A group of high ranks go to the family doorstep and tell them about the death of their son or daughter. This is a huge difference towards the companies way, most of them pay it off so that we think fewer people die than what is shown.

Essential Questions: What responsibility does the GOVERNMENT have to help individuals and businesses in need? What makes a good society? Who decides?

-The responsibilities that the government is to help individuals and businesses are needed but you aren't always to get noticed. It's sad to know that technically your problems aren't so crucial to the government. It more for there to help the majority of the people that are facing the same situations than just being able to listen to your point of view and to have a section. They will only be able to find your time worthy with them if it goes public and rumors start to happen to revolve around the government.

- The qualities of the government makes a good society. Since many other citizens depend on it by the rules/laws that they apply to us due to them wanting more control. But many people have their own beliefs on what makes a good government that can be based on many things which include moreover religion. Freedom is something that everyone can base on, fairness since all genders and sexualities want to belong to society without being treated some way or another.
