         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Changing the pace of the lesson<br><br>With-it-ness: Teacher does not observe student's behavior. <br><br>Preventing boredom- Inject interest through planning fun and meaningful activities. Students will "fly" back to the ancient times. Teacher will bring them "fly" back in time. "Google Expedition" can be used to assist in implementation.<br><br>Prevent frontal teaching only<br><br>Maintaining Group Focus-Accountability enforcement: Call on students to do some explanation of the activity<br><br>Whiteboarding- Students jot down facts pertaining to different civilizations.
