"Library - An ocean of deep and vast knowledge".
Trust me, I had a fantastic experience of visiting and exploring the children's section of the library. Exploration of various picture books of perspective age range made me to think like a child again.

The illustrations provided in the books were colorful, attractive and bright which helped to enjoy the art ,interpretations and opens doors to understand the story. It automatically engaged me with its theme as the characters look real and enjoyable. Moreover, the illustrations changed as I progressed from one page to another. I agree with this statement that, " Characters and visual layout helps to add delight in the story (Middleton , 2018). It helped me in way to use my imagination. For example: before progressing to next page, my brain started to imagine , " What will happen next?"

I have noticed that the usage of size of fonts , font type and colors changed according to the twist in the story. These highly relates to the Middleton (2018) statement " visual narrative as an essential ingredient of storytelling." The text size changes depicting the feeling of how was it said. For e.g. bold letters in inverted commas showed that the character is shouting.

Overall, it was exciting to analyze the books according to my perspective by using analytical skills and decoding the words

I will use the following practices:

Usage of two 'E's in my childhood setting which is enhancing and expanding the children's vocabulary with the help of interesting pictures.

A tool for describing words which includes use of pictures For example : A picture poster for daily routine.

I will create intertextual connections by including experirence and my teaching knowledge.

I will also include drama activities which will be acted on the book's story.

I never thought that, I can write a poem by myself. But, it was a lovely experiencing on working on this as I discovered various rhyming words.

In this digital world, where kids forget to interact with the nature, this rhyme is for to help them build a communication with the nature. According to Victoria State Government(2023), "Rhyme and Rhythm are crucial for Language Literacy". Not only this, it also states that children can actively engage through this like through dancing (Victoria State Government,2023).

Additionally, I have discovered that by singing the above created rhyme helps in phonological awareness among children. Victoria State Government, 2023 says that " Phonological awareness includes how sounds are put together with the help of words through engagement with rhymes". And Mages (2017), states that inclusion of children's rhyme awareness help children to understand structure of words by helping in literacy development and I strongly agree to these.

The most beautiful concept which I found is that poetry and their rhythms build a love for languages, literacy and creativity among young children

I am thankful to this activity which includes Playing and experimenting with paper. As it helped me in making me a child again and refreshes so many past memories. It helped me learn plethora of qualities which I paper have and things which it can do, I did not have any knowledge about it. Using different colours and variety of papers helped me in initiating the process of playing and experimenting it. As depicted in the picture above I continuing playing with the paper by crumpling it with the help of pressure.

Pacini-Ketchabaw, Kind, Kocher, LLM (2016) says that Paper flaps, floats, glides, hovers, soars, tears, rips, sways, flies, rolls, gathers, crumples, crimps, accepts, folds, bends, covers, swishes, flutters, pauses, bunches, scatters, yields. This was something interesting to know that a normal paper is versatile and valuable. After experimenting with this material, I can highly relate this statement.

Composing a song seems to be a tremendous task for me but my daughter provided me an inspiration to accomplish this task. Believe me, I am not good neither in singing nor in writing songs, but I have tried my best to bring a perfect song for children. This song will help children on finding ways to express and communicate their emotions. It was a beautiful moment when I was singing this song as nature was also giving its own background music( as depicted in video)

It is precisely said by Victoria State Government(2023) that “Music is a great tool as it looks at speech patterns & phonological awareness which includes how sounds and words come together in a playful way". And I can build the connection to this concept. I also agree to the statement that, children use songs to build emotions and tell stories by using a certain tone pattern.(Victoria State Government , 2023)

To recapitulate, children can be supported in using their hundred languages through the various above said ways. It can also be said that there is not only a single thing which is developing children’s hundred languages but the contribution of everything such as arts, rhymes, songs , materials. The role of Early childhood education plays a crucial role in children’s language and communication development. It was a marvelous experience in working through this Padlet and knowing the best practices which I can use as an Early childhood teacher.
