  • Teach students how to use effective feedback when conferencing with peers.
Friends, be sure to teach teach your students the difference between person and process praise.  It is critical that you model giving process praise, and the book offers great "feedback stems" for teachers and for students.
Here are a couple of short videos: the first one shows what process praise can look like in a classroom; the second one explains the difference between growth and fixed mindset.

The number of students at risk for Tier 3 (red) intervention decreased by 9%; the number of students at Tier 2 (yellow) decreased by 5%; and the number of students on in Tier 1 (green) increased by 13%.
Other findings are: 25% of our students achieved typical growth and 8% achieved stretch growth.
