Ways I practice good self-care:

First, I make time for physical activity. Every morning I wake up early to walk my dog around the block a few times. Being outside in nature with no other distractions is a very calming way to start my day. I also like to do other types of more intense exercise in the evenings a few times a week. I feel that getting my heart beating and blood pumping is a great stress reliever!

I also like to take a few minutes on my walk to practice gratitude. I list things in my head that I am grateful for. Focusing on positive things in my life help me start the day on a positive note!
