Singapore is a well linked country as a transport center, as it is close to many other countries, singapore needs foreign workers, as local citizens alone are simply not enough to fulfill the economic needs.

- Potential problems faced by the communities and Singaporeans are that the payment in singapore has a lot to give but in other ways singapore's housing board for some people is quite expensive for them.
In addition to that scared by Singaporeans that foreigners are taking away their jobs that are better paying jobs. - Immigrants bring a diversity of cultures, practices and customs from their countries of origin. Many of these migrants and immigrants also come with skills, valuable experience and business networks to contribute ideas and expertise to Singapore's economy that most singaporeans cannot do due to their ineptitude.

-Some possible tensions that are faced by the communities and Singaporeans are scarcity of jobs due to foreign workers  taking away available job opportunities. The foreign community will also face tension due to the lavish lifestyle  and high cost of living that Singapore requires. Singaporeans also have the worry that foreign workers are taking too much space in the country as foreign workers clump in groups and make public places that are otherwise bare, crowded. Some singaporeans may also feel as though they are superior than foreign workers, thus hindering the workplace to be a non conducive environment. Due to discrimination by singaporeans, foreign workers may feel like they do not belong and feel unwelcome thus arising tension between each other which goes against singapores belief of multi cultural society. This tension can cause arguments, fights and even riots if not controlled properly. For example, the little india riot in 2013. It was caused due to the foreign worker feeling discriminated against thus causing the other foreign workers to be enraged. This behaviour by the foreign community has caused an outrage among singaporeans and the impression that all indian workers have bad attitude. Some singaporeans dont want to interact with the indian workers due to the stereotype of them being rowdy. This causes further tension between both singaporeans and the foreign community. Limited interaction has also caused tension between both communities. Lack of interaction and understanding sparked the notorious little india riot in 2013. These examples may make it seem as singapore is a less atractive place to work at

In Singapore, employment opportunities are readily available due to the large number of business that operate here. With that, Singapore has so many foreign workers since this country has so many opportunities for example , domestic workers helping to support families but is not enough since immigrant could easily find a job with stable income in Singapore compared to them.
What could be some possible tension faced by these communities and Singapore with the presence of these areas?

one possible tension is that Singapore has to remain competitive and relevant in order to sustain economic growth .it needs both skilled and unskilled workers for Singapore as a regional business hub. for example , taking on low skilled jobs that supports high skilled professional jobs .
