         <title>Empath Mapping: Instructions</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ask students to create their own empathy maps! Use the instructions below to get learners create their own empathy maps around a subject of your choice.&nbsp;<br><br></div><ul><li>Pick an influential person who is prominent in your field - it could be a scientist, writer or a historical character</li><li>Gather information about this person - this could be through articles written by them or about them, or videos of them and their contemporaries (if possible). You could also create a presentation for your students&nbsp;</li><li>Divide students into groups of 3-4 and get students to read, watch or listen to the information&nbsp;</li><li>Pick an empathy map template from the ones above that most suit your needs. Print and distribute them to students</li><li>Allow students to work on their maps for 20-30 mins. Ask them to get as creative as possible&nbsp;</li><li>Now upload the empathy maps created by your students in this Padlet!&nbsp;</li><li>View other educator's empathy maps and comment on them :) </li></ul>]]></description>
