This illustration show our National flag as a symbolism that indeed we are connected not by blood but by culture, norms, as well as traditions. We can say that we can be connected if values like hospitality, togetherness, unity, love, hope, respect, equality, and peace are seen within us. Furthermore, we are connected because we are all Filipinos living in the same geographical area which is the Philippines. However, we can achieve the so-called "connectivity" if we promote the essence of building camaraderie and establishing a healthy relationship with each other.
#Respect
#LivingInUnityWithSociety

Connected is a feeling of belonging to or having affinity with a particular person or a group. All o f us in our group are connected in terms of being a student and a citizen. Being connected to someone is part of the Hierarchy of Needs of Abraham Maslow and John Bowlby's attachment theories. We connect in order to survive and to satisfy ourselves. Through connecting to other people may increase your self-esteem, forgetting your trust issues and attachment issues and you will feel that you're not alone that you belonged and you're not different. But sometimes his connection can build a block or a big wall to other culture because we always focus on the things that are similar to us, to the people we can relate and understand us without thinking that the people who are different from us are source of another experiences and another lesson that we can get from them.
#TogetherWeSurvive

Showing respect to everyone makes you feel like you are part of a certain group. Being accepted by someone or some people no matter who you are or where you from , the happiness it brought is what money cannot buy. We are connected because we live in the same country, the more nearer the more connection can build towards people. We have different languages but we can able to understand each other by learning them, because one culture can be learned and shared. We are connected because we are Filipinos.

Being able to find someone who will accept you for who you are and what you are is maybe one of the greatest thing that will happen in our life. I believe that we as human cannot live on our own, we really need the company of others to survive, we do not solely depend only on ourselves but also with the help of other people, where we can find sense of belongingness. We in our group believe that we are connected, there is bond between each one of us that is unbreakable. We are connected not just because we are all Filipino, we are connected because all of us share the same goal and that is to achieve peace and commit true happiness. We all wanted to live a country where prejudices will not prosper, where conflict is impossible to happen. Even though we have different beliefs and traditions we still be able to understand each other because of the strong bond within us. What just need to remember what Audre Lordi, a famous writer, professor, and cultural critic said that " It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences."

Society is seamless, everything is connected to one another and everything that occurs within the life of an individual is related to the present sociological realities of that person. We may often think that the world revolves around us, or that our life is separate from the society, but this is only a myopic view of life. Man is a social animal hence it is inevitable that we relate to other people and since society is made up of social subsystems that define our roles we are a part of the complex puzzle of life.
In our group, we show our connectedness through having chitchats about any thing. From a very simple convo started with how's our day went or something made us feel that we belong in certain group in which we are connected regardless of our religion and gender. We can easily talk to each other since we speak in the same language/mother-tongue and live in the same country in which we are familiar with our norms and culture already.

Group 3
Dag-uman, Ely Mae
Patay, Kent
Dela Pena, Princess

Despite of this situation, the people living in a diverse community never fail to feel connected with each other.
