The advice I would give to overcome stereotypes would be to understand that we all are different. It is natural that wherever we go we would always be judged and negative comments would flow our way. Simply just hold your head up high and do your utmost to bet urself and break down those stereotypical walls that may haunt you. Prove them wrong and do what makes you happy because at the end of the day words may hurt but overcoming and persevering just proves how much strong you are.

My advice to overcome stereotypes, are to be unbothered by them, keep your cool and have the mentality of letting your success speak and proving them wrong.

The saying goes…Actions Speak Louder Than Words.

Don’t waste your time or stoop their level of negativity. Prove them wrong and even try to help them engage theirselves in more uplifting and positive words to speak.

And as to someone who speaks stereotypically, please be cautious and mindful of what you are saying, sometimes we aren’t even aware of our own words and actions.

You can never avoid stereotypes, it's always been here and it always will be here. This alone should help reassure yourself that everyone will stereotype you wherever you go but it does not matter since everyone will do it. The more time you spend caring about what they say is the less happiness and state of mine you will allow yourself. Additionally, try to prove them all wrong through your own ability so that they won't have anything to say again since you've proven them all wrong.

My advice is that in this world, there is always going to be stereotypes or a stigma placed on certain groups of people. It is almost impossible to avoid simply because of the fact that a lot of people has different opinions and beliefs. My advice would be to keep your head up and be humble towards those who may hurt you because we can never control someone's thoughts or views. If you believe in something and someone is trying to bring you down about it then you have to keep asking yourself "Is this true, what they are saying?". Once you continue to ask yourself this, you would quickly begin to realize that your thoughts are yours and nobody' else's. And what you think of yourself can not overcome anyone's else's thoughts because only you can be you .

Treat each person as an individual rather than as part of a group. Do not assume that people will have certain traits or behavior simply because they belong to certain groups or nationalities.Do not jump to conclusions or make assumption when you do not know people well. Avoid the temptation to make up information based upon your feelings rather than facts. All people, irrespective of their color or creed, belong to the same human race. Our destinies are deeply intertwined. We are the only intelligent beings in the known universe. Therefore, treat people with respect as the children of God or of earth.Think and act rationally with objectivity when you deal with people or judge their behavior.

I think it is important to remember that being stereotyped is no fault of yours and has everything to do with the one stereotyping.
With this in mind, try to help those stereotyping you out of ignorance, by shedding light on why it is harmful to make assumptions, especially if you don't even align with the impending stereotype. Never tear yourself apart because of someone else's ignorance and shortcoming. Show that you are you because of your actions rather than an uncontrollable attribute (ethnicity, sexual orientation, race, age etc.)

Understanding this will help you to avoid stereotyping others as well!

In life, no matter where we go or what challenges we faced, we are always being stereotyped or discriminated. Life is about ups and downs and no one is perfect. Despite of what others may say about you to try to label you in the society or not make you feel worthy of being apart in the world, continue to be the best version yourself and continue to prove them wrong. Use your experiences to educate others to not to be to quick to judge a book by it’s cover and learn to respect people’s different perspectives, ideas and beliefs. The color of my skin, the type of religion I practiced, the ethnicity group which I belong to or even how introverted or extroverted I am should not determine who I am or what I should accomplish in life. When people try to stereotype or discriminate you in the society, show them that you can be the bigger person and be a different person. Show them that you’re not afraid and that you love who you are despite of what others may say. Show them that their hurtful words cannot bring you down because you have a purpose and you intend to use your purpose to make a positive impact in the society. Be confident and comfortable with the type of person who you are and continue to shine in the light. Embrace yourself and embrace your truth; don’t make other people tell you any wrong.
