Kids would also do racing contest and build the cars to race in. But overall some kids were really pore so they would just use there imagination and play simple games.

Dear Future Generation, December, 5 1930

I have written this letter to tell you all about the great depression. As a kid I went through some tough times and din't always have time to play and be a regular child. I had to work and provide for my family so we could have food on our table and a roof over our heads. It was endless working and suffering, but today kids don't have to work as hard as I did. So whoever is reading should appreciate what they had and not take things for granted. So in some ways the Great Depression helped me be a stronger person and also taught me to be grateful for what I had.
Sincerely,
Isabella Valerio
