One of the most beautiful places that I have visited with my girlfriend this year is the Autisha Canyon. This place is located in the province of Huarochirí, it is approximately 2 hours and a half from Lima. If you are a person who likes extreme sports and adventures like me, this place is perfect for you. The canyon has a depth of 170 meters and the only way to get there is through ropes and a lot of motivation.

It is the perfect place to practice rappelling, bungee jumping and trekking. You can take many tours there but it depends on the tour you take that you will be able to take a walk through underground stairs into an abandoned mine and caves where you can see bats until you reach the canyon. However, the most spectacular attraction within the canyon is the Seke Underground Waterfall. At the end of this trip, you will pass by some stores where they sell some delicious traditional ice cream. I recommend you to visit this place since is not that far from Lima.
