A bachelor of arts graduate in sociology and anthropology from Rollins College, Boston-based Timothy McCoy owns and operates several businesses in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. He started the T.H. McCoy Restaurant Group on October 1, 2000, and oversees all operations including restaurant-level business controls, customer experience, maintenance and repair, and safety. At McCoy Associates Inc., which he started in January of the same year, Timothy McCoy manages employees including a director of operations, two area supervisors, three back-office staff, a hiring manager, a point of sale (POS) tech, and a mechanic. Overall, across the franchises spread around Massachusetts, the day to day operations involve 560 employees.

His operational skills and leadership have won him both regional and national awards from McDonald’s. He also received a Massachusetts Employer of the Year Award presented by then governor Mitt Romney.

Besides work, Timothy McCoy likes fishing in and around Boston, especially on Nantucket Sound. He also fishes in the Florida Keys for tarpon. Other hobbies include playing golf, and he is the international president of Tralee Golf Club, which is in Tralee, Ireland.
