The First Usrah Session 🌷

So, this is my first sharing about my usrah journey !

First things first, I want to review about our Naqibah first 😂 Her name's Ayuni Najwa binti Mohd Asmawi. Alhamdulillah, she is very kind and carries out her responsibilities well. We were introduced to the objectives of the usrah and were also informed about what we need to do throughout Semester 1 in this usrah.

So, this is a little reflection that I gained from our first session :

The word “Usrah” means family. When it was explained about family, it emphasizes that a family requires well-being, harmony, love, and mutual support. These are among the qualities that should be nurtured throughout the usrah sessions.

We were also reminded that seeking knowledge and practicing good manners go hand in hand. A true seeker of knowledge should be sincere for the sake of Allah, respect the teacher, listen attentively, and stay humble. Diligence, consistency, and patience are essential so that knowledge becomes truly beneficial. At the same time, the Qur’an must be our ultimate guide not only to be recited, but also understood, reflected upon, and practiced. With this, knowledge becomes blessed and shapes us into successful, righteous learners.

Our first activity was a fun self-introduction, where everyone shared their names, hobbies, favourite colours, and even some random personalities >.< It was such a light-hearted way to get to know each other

Alhamdulillah, I truly enjoyed this usrah 🫶🏻 I sincerely hope that the bond we build will be tied upon the foundation of faith and piety. ALLAHUMMA AAMIIN !

Okayyy, that's all from me ! bubye~

Reflection of Hadith Jibril 📖

Let's gooo for my little reflection for second week !

For this week, our Naqibah recited the Hadith of Jibril and explained its meaning.

From her explanation, I understood that the content of this hadith covers Islam, Iman, Ihsan, and the signs of the Day of Judgment.

To summarize, The man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about Islam, Iman, and Ihsan. The Prophet ﷺ answered, and the man responded by saying, " You are right. "

One of the questions was about when the Day of Judgment would occur, to which the Prophet ﷺ replied, " The one being asked does not know more than the one who is asking. " Then, the man further asked about the signs of the Day of Judgment, and the Prophet ﷺ explained them.

After that, the man left. The Prophet ﷺ then asked Sayyidina Umar, " O Umar, do you know who he was ? " Sayyidina Umar replied, " Allah and His Messenger know best. " The Prophet ﷺ said, " Indeed, he was Jibril who came to teach you your religion. "

This situation reflects a teacher questioning a student; when the student answers correctly, the teacher affirms the answer.

From this hadith, I learned that we should not feel shy to ask questions from those more knowledgeable, and we should not be embarrassed to say " I don't know " regarding matters beyond our knowledge. Moreover, asking questions is not only beneficial for ourselves, but it also allows others to gain knowledge and benefit from the answers.

Alhamdulillah✨ May we be among those who truly love and seek knowledge 🤲🏻

Usrah 1 Presentation 🧕🏻

Alhamdulillah ! Done with the presentation. The first presentation started with the first group, and it was our group’s turn 🥳

I’ll write here about what we talked about during our presentation. As I mentioned last week, our topic was " How should you cherish life ? "

We talked about how important it is to value life as creations of Allah and how essential it is for us to truly appreciate life.

What I shared was that one of the ways to appreciate life is self-love. It helps us to truly value our lives. This includes taking care of our emotions, our appearance and doing things that we enjoy but still within the limits of the guidance set by Allah 🧕🏻

Another point I shared was about accepting whatever happens in our lives, whether it’s good or bad ;) . We must always remind ourselves that whatever happens has its own 'hikmah' . Sometimes, we may not understand it but Allah knows the best. This also helps us remain calm and peaceful.

The last point is to try to make ourselves better than we were yesterday. We don’t need to compare ourselves with others, only with who we were before. This is also a way to be grateful and avoid feeling dissatisfied by looking at other people’s strengths.

In conclusion, we should be grateful for the life Allah has given us by cherishing it, as this shows our devotion to Him.

From now on, don’t insecure, let’s 'bersyukur' ! 🌸That's all from me ! Bubyeee ~

In summary, from what I have gained for week 3 ✨

Belief in Allah

- Completely sure that He is the only God, with no partners and no children. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of the whole universe. As Muslims, we worship Him alone, pray to Him, read and reflect on the Qur’an, and accept His attributes as taught in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Belief in Angels

- Accepting that they are real and created by Allah from light. They never disobey Allah and always carry out His commands, some of them record our deeds, deliver revelation, and others glorify Allah. Knowing that angels are always around us helps us stay mindful and encourages us to do good.

Belief in Kitab

- Accepting that Allah sent Kitab to His messengers as guidance for people. These include the Taurat, Zabur, Injil, and lastly the Qur’an. The Qur’an is preserved revelation, a miracle given to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and a timeless guide that we should read, understand, live by, and spread to all mankind.

InsyaAllah, That's all from me !

Week 4, Here we gooo !

Believing in :

 1. Prophets

The Hereafter

Qada' & Qadar

1. Belief in Prophets

- knowing that Allah sent them to every nation to call people to worship Him alone, to deliver the true message, and to be the best role models 🌟. All prophets brought the same teaching ; worship only Allah.

It is important because prophets guide people out of misguidance, explain the true purpose of life, and show us how to live with good morals. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the last messenger, sent as a mercy for all humankind 💕

2. Belief The Day of Judgment

- The world will end with a great disaster ⚡️, all humans will be brought back to life, and every single deed, good or bad will be shown and judged by Allah.

It reminds us that every action has consequences. This belief makes us more careful in life, motivates us to do more good deeds and helps us stay away from what Allah forbids 🚫

3. Belief in Qada' & Qadar

- Knowing that everything happens with Allah’s knowledge, will, and plan. Every single thing is already written in Lauhul Mahfuz and nothing can happen without His permission and Allah is truly the Best Planner.

By believing in it, it gives us peace of mind 🕊️, helps us stay motivated to do good deeds ✨, teaches us to be patient and accept Allah’s plans with an open heart and keeps us from feeling too worried.

Alhamdulillah, that's all from me !

Being part of usrah this semester has been such a beautiful journey ! MASYAALLAH TABARAKALLAH ✨

I’ve gained so many valuable experiences that not only added to my knowledge but also gave me more confidence to share goodness, even in the smallest ways. This usrah has shown me how precious ukhwah is how uplifting it is to remind each other towards goodness, and the joy of gathering together in the path of Allah.

Every sharing session made me realize that usrah is not just a weekly circle. It’s a special space for us to grow, improve ourselves, get closer to Allah, and build a deeper love for our deen. I truly treasure every lesson, advice, and little gems of wisdom I’ve received along the way 💖

This whole experience reminds me that the journey of seeking knowledge and practicing it needs istiqamah and strong togetherness. I pray that everything we’ve learned will continue to guide us, and may Allah bless us, keep us united, and lead our steps towards goodness always 🌸🤲

Lastly, for improvements, we could add more exciting activities, try different venues each time to keep things fresh, give out special rewards ( even tiny ones ! ) to make Usrah Members feel appreciated and use media or online quizzes to make the sessions lively and interactive. These steps will make Usrah sessions even more fun, engaging and enjoyable for everyone ! 🎉

Alhamdulillah 'Ala Kulli Hal Wa Fii Kulli Hal Wa Ni'mah 🩶

Ihsan & Eschatology and Yaumul Sa'ah 🌎

Week 5 : What's Ihsan & Eschatology and Yaumul Sa'ah ? 🤔

Ihsan is the highest level in our religion, after Islam and Iman. Ihsan means worshipping Allah as if we can see Him and even if we can’t. We believe that He always sees us.

Ihsan is not only about worship but being kind and doing our best in everything ; in how we treat people, animals, and even the environment. The Prophet ﷺ also reminded us that Ihsan should be in all things, even when slaughtering animals, it must be done with compassion. 🫶🏻

Next, Eschatology is believing in life after death, the Day of Judgment, Paradise and Hell. This is where ultimate justice and reward will be given. The connected between Ihsan and Eschatology, When we live full of Ihsan in our life we will act sincerely, be careful with our actions and always aware that Allah is watching us. This makes us be a better servant of Allah and leads us to Him pleasure.

Yaumul Sa'ah ; The Day of Judgment is only known to Allah SWT. as a reminder that every person will be rewarded according to their deeds.

The signs are divided into two : Minor and Major.

1. Minor signs : false prophets, A mother giving birth to her master and people competing to build tall skyscrapers and the rest.

2. Major signs : the coming of Dajjal, Ya’juj and Ma’juj, the return of Prophet Isa A.S and others

It may sound scary but as Muslims we need to take it as a reminder to always do good deed, strengthen our faith and prepare for the hereafter. May Allah keep us on the right path and protect us from misguidance 🤲🏻💞

Wallahu A'lam 🩶 That's all from me >3

Week 6 Highlight : Akhlak & Adab 💐

Akhlak and Adab are extremely important in our lives as human beings !

Akhlak teaches us the difference between right and wrong, giving us the principles to distinguish good from bad.

Adab is how we actually apply these teachings in our daily lives. It’s about how we behave, speak, and treat others. One of the best examples of Adab is "Adab to our parents".

How we treat our parents ?

We need to speak to them kindly, showing love and respect, being humble in our words and always keeping them in our prayers 💕.

Practicing Adab helps us remain patient, calm, and respectful. By living with good Adab, we not only gain respect from others but also receive countless blessings from Allah.

May we all grow up to have Adab & Akhlak just like the Prophets and spread kindness wherever we go !
Aqcuisition of Hikmah 🌹

This is a little reflection that I have gained from our first session :

What is Hikmah ?

Wisdom (Hikmah)

The ability granted by Allah to think, speak, and act in the best manner. A wise person does not act hastily or excessively and is able to distinguish between right and wrong. Wisdom also helps a person make decisions that bring benefit to oneself and others.

The Relationship Between Ibadah and Wisdom

Ibadah and wisdom are closely connected. When a person performs ibadah sincerely and with understanding, the heart becomes calm and purified. From a pure heart, wisdom emerges in thinking and actions. Ibadah is not merely physical acts of worship but a process that nurtures the soul to become more patient, ethical, and wise in daily life.

The Three Pillars of Action

- Niyyah (Intention)

Intention is the foundation of every action. It determines whether an act is accepted by Allah. A correct intention turns ordinary actions such as studying, teaching, and helping others into acts of worship.

- Amal (Action)

Action refers to deeds performed based on intention. Good actions must be in accordance with Islamic teachings and carried out with sincerity and effort, not merely by imitation.

- Ihsan (Excellence)

Ihsan means performing actions with full awareness that Allah is always watching us. It motivates a person to strive for excellence, maintain good manners, and avoid wrongdoing even when no one else is watching.

Wisdom in Education

Essential as it helps teachers educate students with patience, fairness, and compassion. For students, wisdom enables them to receive knowledge with humility and apply it in their lives. Education based on wisdom not only produces knowledgeable individuals but also those with noble character.

InsyaAllah, May we be among those who love to seek Hikmah in our life 🤲🏻

He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of the whole universe. It's a praiseworthy quality that reflects the purify or of one of souls where a person remains moderate in wordly matters and is willing to accept the truth from anyone.

After explained about it, I asked my group members about their views and opinion about Tawadhu'.
Zakah & Sadaqah 💰🍚

Let's talk about "Zakah & Sadaqah" :3

Zakah is a compulsory act of worship that involves a specific portion of a Muslim’s wealth, prescribed by Allah to be distributed among deserving groups. It shows that worship in Islam is not only spiritual, like prayer and fasting, but also social and material in nature.

Zakah aims to purify wealth and strengthen social responsibility, and it is different from a tax system because it is not meant for profit or income generation. Its importance is emphasized in Islam, as zakah is the third pillar of Islam and is frequently mentioned together with prayer in the Qur’an.

The Virtues of Zakah :

Tawakkul

Ukhuwwah

1. Tawakkul

Placing trust in Allah, when Muslims give zakat, they learn to rely on Allah for sustenance and blessings, believing that giving will not reduce their wealth but instead bring barakah. This strengthens faith and encourages a positive attitude towards sharing and generosity.

2. Ukhuwwah ( brotherhood )

Zakat helps build strong relationships among members of the Muslim community by encouraging care and concern for one another. It reduces social gaps and creates a sense of unity between the wealthy and the less fortunate, reminding Muslims that they are part of one ummah. From a social and economic perspective, zakat helps reduce the gap between the rich and the poor. It promotes responsibility and compassion towards others, contributing to social stability and harmony within society.

Next, Let's continue with topic Sadaqah !

Sadaqah is a voluntary act of giving. It is not limited by time, amount, or form. Anyone can give sadaqah at any time, whether through money, effort, knowledge, or kind actions.

Sadaqah encourages generosity, sincerity, and mutual help. Even small acts of charity can have a meaningful impact on individuals and the community.

In conclusion, zakat and sadaqah play an important role in building a caring and balanced society. They strengthen trust in Allah, promote brotherhood among people and help create positive relationships within the community.

Alhamdulillah, that's all from me ! Babaaaiii 👋🏻
