Part of the immense coursework we learn as occupational therapy (OT) students is focused around the use of adaptive technology (AT). This baseline knowledge can help us understand the need for these types equipment when entering our fields, but it is not until events like these--the Boston Abilities Expo--where students can grasp the true vastness of the AT world. This event opened my eyes to much more than long-handled shoe horns or sock aids. I was exposed to a great deal of information regarding adaptive equipment, adaptive environments, and even networking. I strongly believe, this attendance to this expo has helped immensely prepare me to work with future clients. I look forward to returning to this amazing resource for years to come.

Listed below will be pictures and descriptions of devices or organizations displayed at this year's Abilities Expo
