The Montgomery Bus Boycott was a African American civil right movement prorest. On the bus blacks were only able to sit at the back of the bus and they could only sit if whites were not right there and if all whites were sitting. Blacks avoided the bus and began to carpull, walk and more. This started December 5, 1955- December 20, 1956. Rosa Parks was a big leader in this.
