1) Firstly he was a draftsman in Kursk, tried to move to Moscow and entered the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture unsuccessfully.

2) He created not just his paintings, but also the philosophical theory of the new artist movement.

3) He painted sketches of some decorative textailes and costumes for theatrical perfomances (for instance, "Victory over the Sun" in Saint-Petersburg).

4)He created the word "featheriness". He understood it as an ideal of freedom.

5)He had specific sense of humour. 1910x: he still named the paintings with subject matter. So "House under construction":

- understand the plot because of the title;

- need to perceive the canvas taken all round to understand its meaning. When you look at details of it, the painting seems to be pointless. From far away figures and lines tranform into some visual assosiation (crane, building site, construction works, etc.);

- the colours tend to be brihgt, saturate, deep - be indicative of feelings, temper, atmosphere - the spirit of changes of XX centure;

- the composition shows the dymanics of figure's movement = also the spirit of changes of XX centure.
