At this point of the chapter, Eliezer and his family are deciding if they should trust Moishe the beadle and escape in time before they get sent to their doom but they are too late. Eliezer and his family got sent to a small Ghetto to stay for a while, then the cars came and took them eighty people per car, they were on the road.

This event changes Eliezer's life because it changes the perspective of Moishe the Beadle into a misunderstanding. This event is significant to Eliezer because its a life changing decision whether or not he should trust Moishe the Beadle.

At this point of the chapter, Eliezer his mom and his sister and mom are in the cattle cars where an ill lady screams that see can see a fire but it's only an imagination she seemed like she has been possessed by an evil spirit. Later they arrive at Auschwitz and the lady screams again she sees a fire but this time it was real they saw flames rising from a tall chimney into a black sky.

This moment is also important because this is where Eliezer arrives at Auschwitz the first camp. This Event changes Eliezer because they arrive at the camp and this makes Eliezer scared for what's about to come.

At this point of the chapter, Eliezer and his father get separated from his mom and sister as they are entering Auschwitz. Eliezer sees men throwing children into the furnaces and Eliezer and his father Are getting close to the crematorium but he passes and gets sent to the prison where he meets his kapo and he has to strip, shave his head, and had to wear random clothes.

At this moment Eliezer realizes that he is about to get separated from his mom and younger sister. This event is also important because this is where Eliezer almost gets sent to the Crematorium.

At this point of the chapter, Eliezer was sent to the infirmary to get his gold crown taken with many other inmates but he made an excuse to not get it removed but later on he gave it up to a man. Eliezer is going into a small adjoining room where he finds Idek and a young polish girl having sexual intercourse and Eliezer Burt's out laughing causing Idek to react then grabbing his throat, later Eliezer is called up on a crate on his belly to be whipped.

This event is important because Eliezer has to survive three days in quarantine and he has to pass the dental inspection. This event is also important because this is where Eliezer gets his gold crown removed.

At this point of the chapter, It was Yom Kippur Eliezer was thinking if he should fast or not because it would lead to a faster death but he didn't, his father forbade him to A selection happened where Dr Mengele was writing peoples numbers down and Eliezer passed. Eliezer ran to his father and was shocked that his father's number had been written down he was talking like he was going to die but he passed later they got sent to mop the floor "for the liberation army" then they get in their rankings to go block by block marching.

This moment is important because Eliezer is going through the selection and is worried he won't make it threw. This moment is also important because Eliezer's father is already thinking he's not going to pass the selection and that is making Eliezer even more worried for his father and himself.

At this point of the chapter, Eliezer is still running with an hour left of running Eliezer and his father find a shed to rest in taking turns to sleep a bit, later they were in a barrack where they had another selection. Weak to the left to those who walked well to the right Eliezer's father was sent to the left Eliezer ran towards him but guards shouted at them it made a big commotion that some of the people switched to the right including Eliezer's father, hours went by and the liberation train arrived the ss shoved them inside a hundred per car.

In this moment Eliezer Realises that he's going to be transported to another camp. This event shows that Eliezer's father could have been killed.

At this point of the chapter, Eliezer and his father are in the cattle cars and someone mistakenly points out Eliezer's father who is sleeping and Eliezer is trying his best to prove to them that his father is still alive. His father half opened his eyes and didn't get thrown out, on Eliezer's Third day He felt two hands suffocating him Eliezer calling out for his father And he barely makes it.

This event changes Eliezer by making him careful of his surroundings. This event is significant because Eliezer could have lost his father if he hadn't woken up in time.

At this point of the chapter, Eliezer and his father arrive at the new camp His father was getting weaker and weaker he was suffering from dysentery He was calling out for Eliezer to bring him water but a officer has entered the room. Eliezer's father still calling for him the officer made him take a violent blow to the head and he is still calling for him but it seems to be his last words.

This event changes Eliezer by leaving him with no person to look out for anymore. This event is significant in the memoir because It's where Eliezer's father passed away.

At this point of the chapter, Eliezer was transferred to the children's block, role call was about to happen when sirens began to scream Eliezer went to his block he heard gun shots and grenades exploding. At noon everything was normal again at six o'clock the first american tank came into the gates of Buchenwald Three days later Eliezer got transferred to a hospital because of some type of poisoning he finally got to look at himself in the mirror years later.

This event is significant in the memoir because it's where Eliezer gets freed and sent to a hospital. This event changes Eliezer because he finally can live a normal life without having to be controlled.
